I was involved in the DarkCut project during two years. One prototype was completely without the expected success, but at the second attempt everything worked fine. The machine is currently working at the Mastor, Lda company. The construction of the machine was very challenging, and the knowledge obtained in the University of Algarve, during the curse of Engenharia de Sistemas e Computação was necessary to finish the project. It involved electronics, control, mechanics, planning, software all mixed with some perseverance and hard work. Check the company Mastor to enquire about prices or the abilities of the machine.Since my web hosting provides a reasonable space I have included some videos and pictures.
The AVI files were compressed with DivX 5.0.2 or DivX 5.1. Under Linux try to use MPlayer, a very good video player in my opinion. |
