I'm currently not working on this project. Any questions should be addressed to Tiago Candeias This project, ACID (acronym of Automatic Cadastral Information Digitalization), started in February 2000 with a team of four elements: me, Ruben Oliveira, Tiago Candeias, and our supervisor Professor Hamid Shahbashkia. Currently only Tiago Candeias have an active participation in the project development. The main goal is to develop a system for automatic digitalization of Portuguese cadastral maps by using simple image processing algorithms. Now the prototype already can handle several map identities such as crosses, contours, dash lines and symbols. About 80% of a map is correctly labeled. |
