The use of biotechnological approaches towards the conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources is our main research interest.

Research on the biological, chemical and pharmacological characterization of natural compounds from plant origin, the promotion and valorization of these compounds in the medical and agrochemical areas, and the evaluation of plants tolerance capacity to abiotic stresses, are topics within the interest of our group.
